As‑built Plan Redraws (from client data)

As‑built redraws convert mixed client inputs (sketches, scans, PDFs and measurement sheets) into clean, standardized plan deliverables. This page explains what we can redraw from, how we handle ambiguity and shows representative before/after examples of the finished output.

What this service is best for

Use cases

  • Standardizing legacy plans into a consistent presentation style
  • Turning field data into deliverables for listings or documentation packs
  • Converting paper archives and mixed formats into repeatable digital output
  • Supporting survey/measurement teams during peak volume

Inputs we can redraw from

We can redraw from one or a combination of:

  • Sketches and markups
  • PDF scans / image scans
  • Measurement sheets / survey notes
  • Reference photos (supporting context)
  • Existing CAD files (if available)

Note: Accuracy depends on the clarity and completeness of provided inputs. When information is missing or unclear, we confirm assumptions before finalizing.

How the redraw process works (Input → Output)

1) Review + alignment

We confirm your target template, labeling rules and required outputs.

2) Redraw + standardization

We rebuild the plan as clean linework while applying your presentation rules (labels, layout, symbols).

3) Internal QC

We review for completeness, formatting consistency, labeling rules and output readiness before delivery.

What you receive

Deliverables depend on your workflow and can include:

  • Clean 2D plan outputs in PDF / PNG / JPG
  • DWG deliverables when required (CAD-ready output)
  • FML deliverables when required
  • Batch-ready delivery structure (folders + file naming)

Standards: BBMI / NEN 2580 supported (when required)

What we confirm upfront (to reduce revisions)

  • Target template and labeling rules
  • What to do when data is missing (assumptions vs confirmation)
  • Output set required (PDF/PNG/JPG/DWG/FML)
  • File naming + delivery structure
